Starwood Unveils Plans for Element in Orlando

STAMFORD, CT—Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. unveiled plans for the Element Orlando North as part of a redevelopment of Orlando Fashion Square on Colonial Drive. 

The hotel, which will be the brand’s third n Florida following Element Miami International Airport and Element Miami Doral, is scheduled to open in July 2015. The property is owned by a joint venture between UP Development, StaySharpe and LBK Hotel Ventures. 

The eight-story hotel will offer 151 sustainable rooms and will be just 20 minutes from Universal Orlando Resort and less than 30 minutes from Walt Disney World Resort.
