NEW YORK–The American Hotel & Lodging Association during its annual fall meeting here has elected John Fitzpatrick, president & CEO of the Fitzpatrick Hotel Group, North America, to be secretary/treasurer of the board of directors.
An AH&LA member since 1991, Fitzgerald will serve as Association chair in 2014.
2012 AH&LA officers include chair Nancy Johnson, executive vp and chief development officer for Carlson Hotels Worldwide, the Americas; vice chair Ronald Vlasic, regional vp of hotels, Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants; and immediate past chair John Campbell, general manager of the La Jolla Beach & Tennis Club.
The Fitzgerald Hotel Group, North America, owns and operates two hotels in New York.
