MONTREAL— CDP Capital-Real Estate Advisory and Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide said that Starwood has acquired a 49% interest in SEC Square Victoria Limited Partnership, the owner of the W Montreal hotel located here at 901 Square Victoria. For the purposes of the transaction, the hotel was valued at approximately US$29 million. Starwoods management contract has been extended as part of the transaction. Starwood owns and manages more than 750 properties in 80 countries. Its brands include St. Regis, The Luxury Collection, Sheraton, Westin, Four Points by Sheraton, and W. CDP Capital-Real Estate Advisory Inc. (formerly Cadim Inc.) conducts merchant banking operations worldwide and offers advisory services to institutional and private investors internationally. The company manages real estate asset portfolios, invests in real estate equity and financing products. It also manages portfolios of global public real estate securities for its clients and offers structured finance services.
