Flagship Days Inn Opens In England

LONDON— Days Inns Worldwide has opened the 202-room Days Inn London Gateway Hotel, the brand’s largest property in the United Kingdom. Motorway service station operator Welcome Break built the hotel at a cost of more than US$15 million. The Days Inn London Gateway Hotel offers conference facilities, meeting rooms, an Italian restaurant and lounge. Amenities include workspaces with dataports, Sony PlayStation and color televisions. Located northwest of London on the M1 motorway, the new hotel itself features a range of room types, including handicapped accessible, non-smoking and interconnected family rooms. Days Work Zone rooms, specially designed for business travelers, feature an extra telephone and modem, a larger work desk and a safe.
