The newest Ice Hotel, constructed from 4,500 tons of snow and 250 tons of ice, is slated to open this January just outside Quebec City, Canada. It will stay open for three months before it begins melting in the spring, and already there are more than 1,000 reservation requests which exceed expectations, hotel officials said. Facilities include executive suites complete with ice beds, a bar, a cinema and ice art galleries. Guests will pay $109 (US) per night, which includes a hot breakfast.
