Hotel Design Firm Sold

NEW YORK Ellen McCluskey Associates, an interior architecture and design firm specializing in both hospitality and residential projects, was recently been purchased by Marc Shapiro, former senior vice president/facilities for Loews Hotels. The firm has been renamed the McCluskey Design Group. The company was established in 1950 by Ellen Lehman McCluskey, and is best known for its work in the hospitality industry. Hotel clients include: Regent, Hilton, Westin, Omni, and Loews Hotels, as well as specific projects for the Waldorf-Astoria, Plaza, Essex House, Sherry Netherland, The Regency, Mayfair Regent Hotels in New York and Chicago, and the Dorado Beach and Cerromar Hotels in Puerto Rico.
