EVANSVILLE, IN- The 471-room Radisson here has changed top management, reshuffled its staff and is negotiating with Radisson Hotels and Resorts over its continued affiliation with the Radisson name, according to recent reports.

Jim Harvey, formerly the director of sales and marketing for the hotel, took over as general manager of the hotel last week after the former general manager Margie Nelson, and the hotel controller and sales manager left their positions.

According the Harvey, the dispute between the hotel and Radisson Hotels was “a tiff between the accounting departments” of the local hotel and the chain. The dispute was similar to one between the two business last year, when the hotel felt that Radisson corporate offices, which receives a fee from the property in return for services, was not referring enough customers to the Evansville property.
