NATIONAL REPORT—My Place Hotels of America has opened two properties and broken ground on another recently.
Groundbreaking in Indiana
The company recently broke ground on a new location in Plainfield, IN, the state’s first. Plainfield Town Council President Robin Brandgard, Plainfield Chamber of Commerce President & CEO Brad Dubois, along with chamber members, ambassadors and Plainfield community members gathered alongside the owners, management and My Place Hotels representatives to celebrate the groundbreaking on site.
The new three-story, 64-unit hotel is being developed by Plainfield Hotel Group (PHG). My Place Plainfield is expected to open early next year to serve a variety of short- and long-term guests in the greater Indianapolis area.
The groundbreaking is part a 36-hour event, including three groundbreaking ceremonies and one grand opening event.
“With My Place #50 scheduled to open in just 60 days we’re starting the party now by getting out to celebrate with the communities that have been so great at welcoming My Place,” said Ryan Rivett, president/CEO of My Place Hotels.
The company also broke ground on properties in Shakopee, MN, and Overland Park, KS, and will be celebrating the grand opening of the My Place Hotel – Hastings, NE later today.
My Place Hotel-Kalispell, MT
My Place Hotel-Kalispell, MT is the company’s fourth location in the state. The four-story, 85-unit hotel marks America’s 47th My Place location across 21 states.
My Place Hotel-Kalispell, MT is positioned to serve a diverse array of guests, from travelers looking to make their way to Glacier National Park and Flathead National Forest to families looking to take in regional sports and activities.
The property was built by AMI Development and will be managed by Management Consultants Inc.
My Place Hotel-Wixom, MI
My Place Hotel-Wixom, MI is the brand’s second in the state. The three-story, 64-unit hotel is situated within close proximity to Lakeshore Park and Island Lake State Recreation Area.
Wixom’s newest hotel is independently owned by Wixom Hotel Partners LLC and is operated by Legacy Management.
