ATLANTA—Hotel Equities (HE) has named Jimmy Grover as regional director of operations for the firm. Based here, Grover reports to Dominic Buompastore, VP of operations/full service & resorts. He has oversight of all above property operations for a group of hotels managed by Hotel Equities.
With more than 20 years of hospitality industry experience, Grover began his hospitality career as a technician at the Courtyard by Marriott in Norcross, GA. Moving up quickly, he soon earned the post of GM for the TownePlace Suites by Marriott in Chantilly, VA.
He came to Hotel Equities as GM of the Courtyard by Marriott McDonough and also served as a lead GM for a group of hotels. In 2015, he earned the firm’s Chairman’s Award for the outstanding overall leadership and the performance of his hotel.
