NEW YORK Yahoo will offer its on-line travel service, Yahoo Travel, to web-enabled cell phone users in the United States via an alliance with Travelocity.com. The new offering is part of the Santa Clara, CA-based web company s Yahoo Everywhere strategy, designed to extend Yahoo services beyond the desktop to wireless devices such as cell phones and handheld computers. The new program will also allow Yahoo Travel users to communicate and share their travel experiences with other travelers. (3/14/01)
