DALLAS—Wyndham International, Inc. has sold the 177-room Wyndham Columbus in suburban Georgia to Valley Hospitality for $11 million. The Wyndham Columbus will remain in the brands portfolio under a 10-year franchise agreement with the new ownership. “As the fifth franchise agreement weve signed this year, the sale of the Wyndham Columbus continues our strategic plan of growing the Wyndham brand through management and franchise agreements,” said Fred Kleisner, Wyndhams chairman/CEO. The property, located in citys downtown historic district near the Chattahoochee River and Riverwalk, was built around the original Empire Mills Grist Mill and is near the Columbus Convention & Trade Center.
