ORLANDO—Wyndham Orlando Resort has unveiled the first phase of its multi-million dollar refresh, which includes new guestrooms.
All 613 guestrooms and suites are now adorned with a modern décor, fusing hues of poppy red with elegant, sleek furnishings. According to the company, the guestrooms evoke a playful sophistication, with an effortlessly casual yet refined style.
The renovation is expected to re-launch in October. Changes to be made include a newly constructed lobby, the creation of 60,000 sq. ft. of flexible meeting space and the addition of a technology lounge.
In addition, the surrounding area is currently being developed with the addition of I-Shops, which will bring new dining and shopping options, as well as the development of the I-Drive project. Planned just one block away from the hotel, this project will include the Orlando Eye ( inspired by the London Eye Ferris wheel), Madame Tussauds Wax Museum and SEA LIFE Aquarium.
