ORLANDO, FL—Accompanying a multi-million dollar rehabilitation, Wyndham Orlando Resort has changed its name to Wyndham Orlando Resort International Drive.
In addition to the new name, the hotel will unveil a revamped look for all 613 guestrooms and suites, adorned with modern, “resort-chic” decor. Fusing hues of poppy red with elegant, sleek furnishings, the guestrooms evoke playful sophistication, capturing effortlessly casual yet refined style, according to the company.
The revitalization also includes an enhanced guest arrival experience with a meandering path leading to a grand porte-cochere and expansive, newly constructed lobby with views of a sweeping Grand Lawn, complete with vast manicured greens.
It also included the creation of 60,000 sq. ft. of meeting space. The renovated indoor function space—now unified into one building—allows meeting attendees to stay connected with the addition of a technology lounge, a place to meet and grab a drink after a long day.
The revitalization is slated for completion in October 2013.
