DALLAS Wyndham International announced three new additions to its executive management team, including Curt Ewald as senior vp/operations resources, James Walters as senior vp/sales, and Robert Davis as senior vp/vacation ownership.
In his new role, Ewald will coordinate the efforts of all corporate functions that directly impact hotel operations, such as procurement, finance, sales and marketing, human resources and information technology, in order to ensure the company benefits from synergies and economies of scale. Ewald most recently served as senior vp/Asia-Pacific for Starwood Hotels & Resorts.
In his new position, Walters will oversee all of Wyndham s sales units including travel agent, business transient and group/meeting sales as well as the individual property sales teams. He will also oversee the company s national sales offices in Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles, Miami, New York and Washington DC. Walters most recently served as vp/sales and marketing for Adam s Mark Hotels & Resorts.
Davis will work with Tempus Resorts International Ltd. to implement Wyndham Vacation Club, the company s new vacation ownership initiative. Davis most recently worked with the Promus Hotel Corp. as senior vp/Promus Vacation Resorts. (10/10/00)
