LAKE BUENA VISTA, FL— A $300-million, twin-tower, 30-story luxury condo hotel is now in the works here that will fly the Wyndham Hotels and Resorts flag upon completion. Buena Vista Corp. is the developer of the project, which will reportedly be the first ever Wyndham condo hotel. The 504-unit condo hotel will rest on 11 acres and contain upscale villas ranging from 500 square feet to 1,400 square feet, luxury amenities, cutting edge technology and recreational and entertainment facilities. It will be located one mile from the entrance to Walt Disney World and offer 30,000 square feet of meeting facilities, an 8,000-square foot rooftop nightclub, a 7,000-square foot spa, a kids club, an arcade, sundries and assorted retail shopping. A restaurant will be built in the main hotel area and a bar will be located near the lobby. There will also be an outdoor tiki bar and a grab-and-go snack shop. The project is a part of Buena Vista Corp.’s 214-acre Ruby Lake development. Wyndham Hotel Group will manage the condo hotel.
