BOSTON — The 362-room, flagship Wyndham Boston has once again been honored with the prestigious Four-Diamond Award by the American Automobile Association (AAA), a distinction that puts this historic property among the top 3% of all U.S. hotels. The AAA rates lodging establishments and restaurants based on a set of national standards, including the level of experience, décor, comfort and service. These awards are some of the most exalted honors bestowed in the hospitality industry. The Wyndham Boston occupies the historic Batterymarch building located in the heart of Bostons Financial District within walking distance of some of citys best-known tourist attractions including Quincy Market, Fanueil Hall, the Waterfront, and Post Office Square. Designed by Harold Field Kellogg, a renowned Boston architect, the Batterymarch building was the first Art Deco skyscraper in Boston and at the time of its construction in 1928 it was the largest office building in downtown.
