NATIONAL REPORT—Hotel Business is tracking what’s going on with new-build projects. Margaritaville Nashville, Celino South Beach, Quest Contracting and Westin Anaheim Resort have made some moves. Here are the details:
Margaritaville Nashville Hotel Marks Construction Milestone
Margaritaville Nashville Hotel celebrated its topping off with a special luncheon this week. The luncheon, commemorating the hotel reaching its final construction height, recognized the hard work of the construction team—including representatives from JE Dunn and local partners from Nashville, TN-based architectural firm ESa and PBG builders. The $85-million hotel, Margaritaville’s first urban lodging destination, will provide vacationers and Nashvillians alike with a license to chill in the heart of Nashville. When complete, the hotel will offer 217 rooms, more than 10,000 sq. ft. of function space, new dining concepts such as JWB Grill, and a rooftop relaxation and entertainment area.
Celino South Beach to Open in February
Following a $110-million transformation of the Park Central hotel, Celino South Beach will debut as a 132-guestroom oceanfront haven and will introduce a reinterpretation of 1940s Miami Beach glamour. Celino will comprise three original Art Deco buildings plus a new five-story atrium building.
Quest Contracting Awarded EB Hotel in Miami
Quest Contracting was recently awarded EB Hotel Miami, located five minutes from Miami International Airport. Quest’s scope of work will include a 6900-sq.-ft. new ballroom and public/pre-event space along with renovations for a new spa facility.
Westin Anaheim Resort Completes Construction Milestone
The Westin Anaheim Resort turned over the ground floor of its new parking structure to the City of Anaheim and the Anaheim Convention Center in order to facilitate improved staging for vehicles and convention loading and unloading. Today’s occasion also allowed for the final acquisition of a 1.75-acre parcel that will enable the Westin to complete its construction.
