Westmont Hosp. Sells Oakland Airport Hotel

MINNEAPOLIS Milestone Hotel Investments and American Property Management Corp. have purchased the 293-room Oakland Airport Holiday Inn from Westmont Hospitality Group. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

American Property Management will operate the hotel as a Holiday Inn under a franchise agreement with Bass Hotels and Resorts. The property will immediately undergo a $3 million renovation.

Over the past 12 months Milestones acquisition activity totals three transactions consisting of 16 properties with over 2,290 rooms. (5/31/01)
