COLUMBUS, OH— On the heels of its reported $13-million purchase of the 221-unit Embassy Suites in the northeast portion of this city, Houston, TX-based Westmont Hospitality Group is planning to spend another $4 million in renovations to the 19-year-old building. Located at 2700 Corporate Exchange Dr., the hotel will kick off renovations to its ballroom and meeting rooms in late August, according to hotel general manager Kendall Clay. He added the property’s furnishings, carpeting and wallpaper are slated to be refurbished starting in November.
