SPOKANE, WA— WestCoast Hospitality Corp. has introduced a national sales strategy that integrates the sales forces for WestCoast Hotels as well as Red Lion Hotels and Inns. As set up, national sales directors will be responsible for the combined sales and marketing efforts of all within the WestCoast family of lodging properties. Each national sales director is also responsible for an assigned market segment, including: • the association market; • the crew/permanent market; • the tour and travel market; • government, education, religious and fraternal organization markets; and • the corporate market. Leading the national sales direction efforts are Elaine Bennett (association market), Chuck Carter (crew/permanent market), Roger Clute (tour and travel market), Jack Gettles (government, education, religious and fraternal markets), and Cheryl Foster (corporate market). The overall team is to be led by Lori Farnell, vp/sales for WestCoast Hotels.
