WestCoast Hotels Reflagging Inn To Red Lion Brand

SPOKANE, WA— WestCoast Hospitality Corp. is reflagging the University Inn at Salmon Creek in Vancouver to its Red Lion Hotels and Inns brand. The 89-room property will become the Red Lion Inn at Salmon Creek in July. The property is owned by Salmon Creek Lodging, LLC and is managed by HMG Lodging Management, Inc. The property is near the Clark County Fairgrounds, Westfield Shoppingtown, WSU Vancouver Campus, Portland International Airport and Vancouvers business districts. WestCoast operates one other hotel in Vancouver, the 160-room Red Lion Hotel Vancouver at the Quay. WestCoast completed the acquisition of Red Lion Hotels, Inc. in December 2001 and now owns, manages and franchises more than 90 hotels in 16 states.
