NEW YORK At the eTravelWorld Conference held here, Wall Street analysts made their predictions for this year s top e-travel stocks putting Sabre, Hotel Reservations Network (HRN), Travelocity, and Expedia at the top of the list.

“Lodging is where tremendous opportunity exists on the Internet,” said Bob LaFleur, associate director/Bear Stearns. “It a fragmented business that s miserably distributed on the Web, and companies can take advantage of that. All HRN does is sell cheap rooms on the Internet, but it s a real business and real money is to be made there.”

Other analysts noted Sabre s high cash flow and positive stock-versus-earnings ratio as factors contributing to it s good stock price. Sabre is currently trading at $45.11, and HRN is currently at $25.625. (4/4/01) Diana M. Rodriguez
