JAKARTA, INDONESIA—Hilton Worldwide’s Waldorf Astoria & Resorts brand is developing the Waldorf Astoria Jakarta, which will be the second hotel for the brand in Indonesia following the 2017 opening of the Waldorf Astoria Bali.
Located along Jalan M.H. Thamrin Road in the central business district and 20 miles from Soekarno-Hatta International Airport, the 181-room Waldorf Astoria Jakarta is set to open in 2018, a result of a management agreement with PT. Putranagaya Wahana.
It will offer an outdoor pool, health club, spa, library lounge, an all-day dining restaurant and event space, including a ballroom, meeting rooms and a business center.
According to the company, it is currently set to be the tallest hotel in the city and built as a 74-story mixed-use development.
