WAIKIKI, HI The Waikiki Beachcomber Hotel has been put back on the block by its Japan-based owner Kahaone Investment Corp., according to sources familiar with the property. CB Richard Ellis is marketing the 500-room hotel without an asking price, sources said. Kahaone, a subsidiary of Mitsui Leasing USA, bought the 26-story hotel for $84.6 million from Japan-based Azabu USA in 1992, according to state records. (2/14/01) SOURCE:Honolulu Star-Bulletin
