CORAL SPRINGS, FL—Vantage Hospitality Group revealed that industry development veteran Greg Burgett has joined the company as Regional VP, development for the Midwest Region.

In his new role, he will be responsible for growing Lexington Inn and Lexington Hotel, as well Jameson Inn, Jameson Suites and the 3 Palms Hotel and Resort brands in Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, Nebraska, Kansas, Missouri, Texas and Oklahoma.

“Greg brings precisely the right mix of expertise to our team,” stated Mark Williams, group president of Vantage’s upscale brands. “He is well-known and well-regarded throughout the hospitality industry, and we have tremendous confidence in his ability to further develop the Vantage brands in this region of the country.”

Burgett brings nearly two decades of experience in franchising and brand development with multiple hotel companies. He joins the Vantage team from Best Western International, where he was a regional director of development. Previously, he served in development positions at Choice Hotels International, Red Roof, Motel 6, Microtel and GuestHouse International.

“I am pleased to be joining a great team,” stated Burgett. “Vantage has been one of the fastest-growing companies within the hospitality industry and has consistently outperformed its competitive set in growth. Building stronger upscale Vantage brands in targeted markets is one of Mark Williams’ top priorities, and being a part of this dynamic environment is very exciting to me.”
