WICHITA—Former Choice Hotels executive Bruce Haase has been named CEO of Value Place, effective April 11.
Haase, who was most recently executive vp, global brands, marketing and operations, left Choice in 2012 after spending some 12 years with the company. He now joins Value Place, which includes some 185 properties and has been searching for a CEO since Dan Weber left the company in late December.
Haase, who will be based at the company’s headquarters here, will lead the executive team of industry experts in their mission to accelerate the brand’s growth. “From a growth and development perspective, Value Place provides the best hospitality opportunity right now,” stated Haase. “The company has laid the foundation for a successful, proven and profitable business mode, and enjoys substantial growth opportunities in numerous undeveloped markets. This a brand that’s on the move, and I’m excited to be a part of that progress.”
