U.S. Hotels See Room Revenue Continue To Rise

LOS ANGELES— U.S. Hotels posted an 8.9% rise in room revenue for the week ended March 12 compared with a year earlier, according to Smith Travel Research. Occupancy rose 2.7 percentage points to 65% of rooms, while hotel room rates rose six percent to $92.95, taking RevPAR up 8.9% to $60.38.
