U.S. Hotels Exhibit 10.2% Increase In Year-Over-Year Room Revenue

LOS ANGELES— According to a Smith Travel Research report, hotels in the United States exhibited a 10.2% increase in room revenue for the week that ended on Feb. 19 compared with the same time period in 2004. In the same time comparison, occupancy rose 3.8% up to an average of 63.1% and ADR jumped 6.3% and reached an average of $92.68. Overall RevPAR for the week that ended on Feb. 19 was $58.44.
