LONDON— The Financial Times recently reported that efforts to boost U.K. tourism after the foot-and-mouth epidemic appear to be paying off. Official figures show the decline in the number of overseas tourists has slowed. In May, the number of visiting holidaymakers fell by 8% against a year ago, but that was an improvement on the 22% year-on-year decline in April. SOURCE:Financial Times
