MIAMI— A new international asset management and consulting firm, Titan Hospitality, LLC, has been formed by two hospitality and travel veterans, Eric Ewoldt and D.C. Becker. According to Ewoldt, the firm is qualified in asset management, operations, sales & marketing, finance, strategic planning, and feasibility/market research activities. The firm also provides expertise in engineering and capital expenditure planning and management. Ewoldt has been actively engaged in asset management and strategic planning in the U.S., Europe and Asia for Colony Capital, Interstate Hotels Corporation, and the GencomGroup. Becker, based in New York, is best known for his expertise in sales and marketing, having served as senior vp, strategic planning for Flag Luxury Properties, LLC, which includes such properties as the new Ritz Carlton South Beach in Florida, Ferry Point Golf Course and Conference Center in New York City, and The Ritz Carlton Gold Club & Spa in Jupiter, FL. By way of getting the new operation off to a fast start, it was reported Titan Hospitality has been named to provide support for the opening of the new Ritz-Carlton Grand Cayman Resort as well as for The Residences at the Ritz-Carlton Grand Cayman.
