INTERNATIONAL REPORT—Radisson and CitizenM have opened new locations, while Kimpton has signed a property in Northern Europe. Here’s a look:
CitizenM Copenhagen Radhuspladsen Opens
CitizenM Copenhagen Radhuspladsen recently opened its doors in Denmark.
The hotel is steps from the City Hall Square (Radhuspladsen), four minutes’ walk from Tivoli Gardens, and 10 minutes’ walk from The National Museum of Denmark. It has 238 smart bedrooms furnished with luxury essentials. All signature detail of a citizenM room are there: the enormous XL king-size beds, luxury linens and towels, and Grohe power showers with full-size custom-made AM and PM shower gels.
Park Inn by Radisson Lands at Oslo Airport
The Park Inn by Radisson Oslo Airport Hotel West in Norway recently opened its doors. It is Radisson Hotel Group’s third property at the airport and the ninth in Oslo
The hotel has 233 guestrooms and facilities include a restaurant, a bar and a fitness room, along with 12 meeting and conference rooms. Park Inn by Radisson Oslo Airport Hotel West is operated by Radisson Hospitality AB under an international license agreement.
IHG Signs Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants in Rotterdam, Netherlands
IHG has signed the Kimpton Rotterdam, The Netherlands. The hotel is signed under a management agreement with Omnam Group and is set to open in 2022.
This is the second hotel for Kimpton in the country, and will be in Rotterdam’s Port building, the city’s former main Post Office dating back to 1921, which today is part of a mixed-use project in the heart of the city center. When open, the hotel will offer 231 guestrooms created by ODA NY, an architecture firm that will restore the historic building to its full potential.
This hotel will be developed and opened with Omnam Group, a real estate group and active investor, with significant projects in the European hotel market. Omnam specializes in medium- to large-scale hotels, aparthotels, mixed-use developments and conversion opportunities, with destinations including Brussels, Belgium; Amsterdam, The Netherlands; and Rome, Italy.
