WASHINGTON, D.C.— The NetEffect Alliance, the IT subsidiary of MeriStar Hotels & Resorts, has unveiled two new e-products designed to help individual hotels and hotel groups more quickly and cost-effectively conduct target marketing campaigns and measure guest satisfaction. The first offering— entitled E-Brochure— is described as a program allowing users to create brochures electronically in line with direct-response marketing and lead-generation initiatives. Subscribers can reportedly select from five custom graphic templates to produce a complete brochure minutes after the copy is written. The second product off the NetEffect Alliance line— Rapid Comment— is billed as an electronic guest-response program via which the guest can be automatically e-mailed and generating an evaluation in response. According to NetEffect Alliance sources, guest responses are recorded in tabular as well as graph form in order to identify trends, with click-through access to more specific data and comments similarly available. Moreover, it was noted comment-card forms can be revised and updated by the hotel at no additional expense.
