CHEYENNE, WY— Developers are planning to build two hotels in Cheyenne on land that is being acquired through a swap with the city, according to published reports. Work will begin in August on a Hilton Homewood Suites, while construction will begin this fall on a Courtyard by Marriott. The land near Interstate 25 once was a mobile home park. Part of that land was willed to the city for use as a park. Plans call for the park to be developed while the new hotels are being built. The hotels are expected to open in the summer of 2008.
