MILLBURN, NJ Business Enterprises for Sustainable Travel (B.E.S.T.), the New York-based initiative of The Conference Board, is partnering with the Western American Indian Chamber to promote Indian Country Tourism.

B.E.S.T. and the Western American Indian Chamber are undertaking the first-ever national survey of American Indian-owned and managed tourist attractions that present the heritage, culture, and natural lands of Indian tribal nations. The goal is to help Native Americans advance economic growth while preserving cultural and natural riches. (2/27/01)
