NEW YORK—Wyndham Hotel Group is expanding its select-service TRYP by Wyndham brand here with the signing of a franchise agreement for a 334-room hotel in Manhattan’s Times Square, marking the brand’s second property in the market.
The hotel, scheduled to open by spring, is undergoing a multimillion-dollar renovation and redesign led by operator Hampshire Hotels Management.

We look forward to extending that culture to New York City visitors at a second location, which will exude the spirit, style and service for which the brand has become known.”
Signature guestrooms at TRYP by Wyndham New York Times Square will include five fitness rooms that offer fitness equipment for a private workout, and 45 family rooms with bunk beds for children and a larger, separate bed for adults.
Additional amenities and services will include free high-speed wireless Internet access; a coffee bar; the brand’s signature blog wall, comprised of two 46-in. screens to keep guests updated on local events and connected to hotel staff, known as TRYP Ambassadors; and business services.
