FRANFURT, GERMANY- Donald Trump is expected to invest as much as 1 billion deutsche marks ($440 million) in German real estate, Financial Times Deutschland said, citing unnamed sources in the industry.
Trump plans to build a tower in Berlin, develop a property in the Cologne media-park and a hotel in Colognes inner city, the newspaper said. Trumps investments may also attract more foreign investors to the German real estate market.
Marseille-Klinken AG, a German nursing-home company, formed a real estate joint venture with Trump in August called TD Trump Deutschland AG, to develop commercial property in Germany. (11/7/00)
