AMSTERDAM—Tribute Portfolio has agreed to open the Apollo Hotel Amsterdam.
The 223-room hotel is scheduled to join Tribute Portfolio in April 2017, following a major renovation of its guestrooms, restaurant and public areas.
Belgian designer Will Erens will oversee an extensive renovation of the rooms, suites, reception, lobby and restaurant with the new design set to emphasize the hotel’s local essence and indie spirit. The 223 revamped guest rooms and suites will provide upscale amenities, as well as waterside or cityscape views.
The property’s meeting and event space includes five multifunctional rooms, as well as several outdoor terraces and a private jetty. Hotel guests and visitors also benefit from a 24-hour business center, on-site parking facilities, a fitness center and a spa.
The hotel also features several independent culinary options serving both international and local cuisines, including the acclaimed Harbour Club Kitchen, a fine dining experience, and The Marina Lounge and Terrace, which provides a social space for guests and visitors to enjoy small plates, refreshments and cocktails.
Tribute Portfolio allows owners of distinctive properties to maintain their independent spirit, while benefiting from Marriott International’s powerful distribution, loyalty and sales platforms. Tribute Portfolio has debuted hotels in Paris, London, Singapore and Japan, and has recently signed U.S. properties in Santa Fe, NM; Coral Gables, FL; Tampa, FL; Denver; San Diego; St. Louis; and Houston.
