LAS VEGAS— According to Travelodge Senior Director of Marketing Andy Maguire, Travelodge is planning on “knocking out the competition” with new marketing strategies that were unveiled for franchisees here today at the brand’s annual conference. Those marketing strategies will begin with an online marketing campaign involving paid search on Google and Overture and banner advertising on such websites as MapQuest.com and Yahoo.com. Furthermore, Travelodge will soon launch its new website that features new functionality that will be designed to make it easier for visitors to find and reserve a room with the location, bed configuration, amenities and rate they prefer in the fewest possible mouse clicks and least amount of time possible.
