DALLAS On March 14, 2001, Forrester Research is hosting an event entitled “Travel Summit: The Next Wave Of Online Travel” at The Fairmont Dallas. Guest speakers include Tony Gonchar, customer relationship management director at Expedia; Maria Menendez, vp/strategic marketing for ANC Rental Corp.; John Samuel, vp/interactive marketing at American Airlines; and Michael Sites, vp/product marketing for Orbitz.

The Travel Summit will focus on new strategies for travel companies to market and distribute products and services via the Internet. Forrester is predicting that by 2004, the percentage of U.S. households that use the web to book travel arrangements will double to more than 40% and projected revenues will soar above $50 million.
