TIMA Offers Hotel Inventory Aggregation System

PHOENIX— Travel Inventory Marketing Alliance, LLC (TIMA) announced the availability of its TIMA System, a hotel inventory aggregation system that connects hoteliers and other hotel inventory suppliers to a common, XML application accessed in real-time by multiple on- and off-line inventory distributors. The system allows suppliers instantaneous control to change room rates and availability while giving inventory distributors the opportunity to present and sell inventory formerly unavailable to them, according to TIMA. The flexible architecture of the TIMA System allows suppliers and distributors to dictate the look and sales terms of their inventory. Inventory suppliers are able to upload distressed or excess inventory that would otherwise go unsold, while distributors are able to download such inventory to supplement inventory they lack.
