NEW YORK The Travel Industry Association of America will release on February 27 at the Rainbow Room here two new studies on e-travel consumers and their use of the Internet. The company will discuss the size of the e-travel consumer market and what these consumers are planning and booking online.
According to TIA, online bookings increased 58% last year and have increased 384% in the past four years. TIA will report on what types of websites are being used, the use of travel agents, book-to-look ratios, the demographics of frequent online travel bookers, and the satisfaction of the online travel experience.
