MYKONOS, GREECE—The 100-key Santa Marina Resort & Villas, a Luxury Collection Resort, Mykonos, located here, has completed a three-year renovation.
Silvina Macipe Krontira of Greece-based SMK Interiors led the renovation, which will feature a contemporary-yet-timeless design, according to Starwood. Guest accommodations, public spaces and restaurants have been redesigned, reflecting Starwood’s strategy to invest in the restoration of its Luxury Collection hotels and resorts in Europe.
The property features 100 guestrooms and suites; each includes a private balcony and some include a private pool. The rooms and suites will feature natural materials such as teak wood and linen fabrics. The redesign of the public spaces also feature natural décor, along with muted tones, inspired by the coastal surroundings. The elements complement the resort’s white interiors. The property also features Cycladic design accents throughout the lobby and private villas.
The BAYVIEW Beach Restaurant & Bar, unveiled last year, offers Mediterranean-fusion cuisine inspired by local seafood and Japanese influences. The restaurant also features a honeyed wood terrace.
Additionally, the resort offers Lotus Spa, three swimming pools, a Children’s Club, sporting facilities and water recreational activities.
