Three Marriott Hotels Set For Orlando

WASHINGTON? Marriott International recently broke ground on three new hotels in the Little Lake Bryan area of Orlando, FL. The hotels include a 312-room Courtyard by Marriott, a 388-room Fairfield Inn and a 400-suite SpringHill Suites. The hotel complex will be called The Marriott Village at Little Lake Bryan. The three hotels, scheduled to open in the early summer of next year, will be owned by CNL Hospitality Group, an affiliate of CNL Group, headquartered in Orlando, and will be managed by Marriott. The land for the project was purchased this year from the Little Lake Bryan Co., a Walt Disney Co. subsidiary. The complex will be a gated community with the hotels separated by cobble-stoned streets. There will be seven specialty shops and three restaurants adjacent to the hotels. Each hotel will feature separate pools for adults and children and have outdoor pool bars and grills. The five-story Courtyard hotel will be aimed at leisure and business travelers. The Fairfield Inn was designed for the value-conscious traveler and the SpringHill Suites is an all-suite lodging product. Marriott International operates over 1,800 units in the United States and 52 other countries and territories. Marriott?s lodging business includes hotels and vacation ownership resorts, senior living communities and services, corporate housing and food service distribution.
