MIAMI—Tecton Hospitality has inked a contract to manage the Seven Stars Luxury Resort and Residences on Grace Bay in Providenciales in the Turks and Caicos Islands in the Caribbean. The five-star luxury resort is scheduled to open in February 2008. The property, which is currently under construction, is the second condo property to be managed by Tecton’s boutique hotel division Desires and its third property in the Caribbean. Seven Stars is being developed by Sodalco Development Co. Ltd. under the leadership of President Jak Civre. Once completed, the resort will consist of seven residential buildings. It will feature a spa and fitness center, two tennis courts, an oceanfront pool, an upscale Italian restaurant, a clubhouse with a business center and a private beachfront dock and pier. “We were drawn to this property because it is located in the Turks and Caicos Islands, which is not only a tropical paradise that attracts people from all over the world, but has one of the fastest growing economies in the region,” said Raul Leal, president/Tecton Hospitality.
