MUMBAI, INDIA—Taj Group has opened Taj Dubai, a luxury hotel located in the Burj Khalifa downtown area.
The Taj Group, established in 1901, has 128 hotels, resorts and palaces spanning 64 locations in India and 15 international locations on four continents.

Accommodations at Taj Dubai includes a total of 296 rooms, comprising Taj Club Rooms, 16 Junior Suites and 15 Luxury Suites with views of Burj Khalifa and Dubai Mall.
Taj Dubai also features the Maharaja Suite, which is inspired by opulent Maharaja’s palaces in Rajasthan, according to the company, and includes a roof terrace on the 33rd floor of the hotel, and the Presidential Suite, which measures 7,319 sq. ft., occupies the entire 35th floor and features its own fitness suite and yoga room.
Taj Dubai will feature its exclusive members’ only private club Chambers for the first time outside of India. It entitles guests to an array of benefits such as private dining, bespoke conference and business facilities.
Dining offerings include Tesor, which offers Peruvian-themed cuisine for lunch and dinner and an international breakfast within a glass and metal conservatory area; Kui, which offers al fresco dining; the Eloquent Elephant, an informal gastro-pub with tapa’s style dining; Byzantium Lounge, an Art-Deco inspired venue offering light bites and afternoon tea, with cocktails in the evening; and Bombay Brasserie, Taj’s Indian restaurant located on the fourth floor with views of the Burj Khalifa.
