Taiwan Group Puts Taipei Hilton On The Block

TAIPEI Taiwan real estate developer Hung Kuo Group will auction its Taipei Hilton Hotel in March, a local newspaper reported on Saturday. The Economic Daily News said the financially strapped group had asked China Development Industrial Bank to auction the hotel on its behalf. The value of the Taipei Hilton was estimated at around $18.75 million, the newspaper said. (2/26/01)
