ATLANTA— Suburban Franchise Systems (SFS) reported the opening of five Suburban Extended Stay Hotels. The properties are located in Jacksonville and Tallahassee, FL; Avondale, LA; and Chesapeake and Sterling, VA. Following this most recent expansion in the Southeast, Lewis said SFS will target the mid-Atlantic region next. SFS currently has locations in Jacksonville, FL and Chesapeake, VA. In Tallahassee, the new property has a large legislative and university base and includes high-speed Internet access; automated voicemail and wake-up call; direct dial to each guestroom; swimming pool and sundeck. Adjacent to the Chesapeake Conference Center, the Chesapeake property includes a fitness room; meeting room and business center. The Sterling location, just north of Washington Dulles International Airport, is the first five-story interior hotel in the Suburban system. The SFS chain includes 67 properties throughout the United States.
