CHICAGO Strategic Hotel Capital (SHC), a private hotel investment company with assets valued at approximately $3 billion, has acquired the Four Seasons Resort Punta Mita on the Mexican Pacific Riveria from Dine, a subsidiary of DESC, S.A. de C.V., and Four Seasons for an undisclosed amount. The purchase represents SHC s second luxury property in Mexico, both of which are branded and managed by Four Seasons.
The hotel features 114 guestrooms and 26 suites as well as a 10,000-square-foot full-service spa and 3,500 square feet of meeting space with 3,100 square feet of pre-function space. The Four Seasons Punta Mita also offers a 19-hole golf course, pool, and a 1,000-square-foot Cultural Center. (3/27/01)
