HENDERSONVILLE, TN Smith Travel Research released preliminary lodging industry figures for January 2001 that suggest that occupancy will be flat or slightly up for the month versus January 2000. RevPAR for January 2001 should increase 4-6% versus the prior year, according to STR. (2/9/01)
