SALT LAKE CITY— The Stein Ericksen Lodge in Utah has received the AAA Five Diamond Award. The Lodge, which received the award for the first time, is reportedly the only property in Utah, and one of only two ski resorts nationwide, to receive the award. GM Russ Olson emphasized that the high level of personal service provided by the staff has been the key factor in raising the ranking from four to five diamonds. Key factors in increasing the level of service included creative incentive and reward programs for the staff, the long-term retention of staff members, and the hiring of management from in-house.
